Giant Louis Vuitton pills by artist Desire Obtain Cherish

I've used the cliche term "Fashion Addict" many times in reference to my love of this industry. However, contemporary artist (who creates under the alias Desire Obtain Cherish) took the phrase literally and created oversized physical adaptions of it. His work is wonderfully shocking and thought-provoking with out losing that addictive beauty that he both comments and capitalizes on. This collection will be shown at Art Basil in Miami next month from December 5th to the 9th, if you want to get an eye-full of it in person.

Lesley Arfin's Closet

"These boots are one of three things I'd save in a fire. I'd save these boots, my cat Spooky, and the blankies I've been sleeping with every night since I was a born"

So while looking around the inter-webs I stumbled upon a sneak peak in to the closet of one of the writers of my absolute favorite show of all time... Girls. I'm so obsessed, it's insane. She is cool, smart, funny, and stylish as hell... everything I want to be when I grow up. It seems we share an adoration of our cats and thrifted motorcycle boots, so maybe there is hope for me....

I found this little hipster  worm hole over at Style Like U, Which has insight into tons of kick ass women's closets like THIS one.... and THIS one... and even some for the stylish men-folk!

Style Icon: Andy Warhol's Factory Girl

Time Magazine named him one of the most influential style icons of all time. Nars recently launched it's Andy Warhol Collection utilizing his pop-art hues and even his prints as design inspiration. His Factory churned out quite a few lucrative careers including Betsy Johnson and my favorite over the top photographer David LaChapelle. So it comes as no surprise that the iconic "mod" look that the 60's became so famous for was also a product of The Factory. It was a look that Miss Edie Sedgwick (the first Famous for being Famous personality) was the queen of. One that continues it's relevance even today. Smokey eyes, over sized accessories, short hemline, and a two-tone color pallet is simple yet bold; the definition of chic.

1. Blue Bird Apparel Flutter Fly tunic, $59 (styled with your own black tights) 2. Belle Style Sadie Earings, $59 3. Vintage round tortoise shell sunglasses, $15-$60 4. Edie Sedgewick Make-up, Smokey eyes, fake eyelashes, nude lip 5. Sole Society 'Madeline' Pump, $49.99

Trend Report: Rebel Rebel

When I hear Rebel I always think sexy, powerful, bad-ass. Which is exactly what this look is. A hot pink lip + some metal accents add some attitude to this already rebellious outfit. Quick Tip: If you aren't ready to go full-on hot pink lipstick, try Nars' mini lip glosses they just released in their new Andy Warhol collection. The hot pink shade above comes along with 4 other pop-art inspired colors and will add the perfect amount of hot pink hue to your pout without over doing it.
