Style Icon: Andy Warhol's Factory Girl

Time Magazine named him one of the most influential style icons of all time. Nars recently launched it's Andy Warhol Collection utilizing his pop-art hues and even his prints as design inspiration. His Factory churned out quite a few lucrative careers including Betsy Johnson and my favorite over the top photographer David LaChapelle. So it comes as no surprise that the iconic "mod" look that the 60's became so famous for was also a product of The Factory. It was a look that Miss Edie Sedgwick (the first Famous for being Famous personality) was the queen of. One that continues it's relevance even today. Smokey eyes, over sized accessories, short hemline, and a two-tone color pallet is simple yet bold; the definition of chic.
